You can’t get around it, you need to print on paper, no matter how much more environmentally friendly it is to use email and other digital media. Environmentally Friendly:

There aren’t a whole lot of tricks and spinning lights you can put on a printer to make it stand out in a crowd. That’s why HP took a different route with the Deskjet D2545 printer. Instead of trying to ramp it up with needless features that would only make it harder to use, HP made this printer about as green as they come. Made from 83% of recycled plastic, it’s giving new life to old and worn out plastics.

But, for a printer, it does have some pretty cool features. It can produce 600 dpi in black and white and 4800 x 1200 dpi when printing in color. It also can hold 80 sheets of regular paper and can print all the exciting stuff like envelopes, transparencies, labels and so forth.

Energy Consumption:

The HP Deskjet D2545 printer is EnergyStar qualified, meaning it uses far less energy than other printers in its category.

Product Features:

At $45 it’s almost too good a deal to pass it up. If you’re in the market for a printer, this is about as cheap as they come AND it’s going to help you cut down on your energy bill and reduce waste. It’s a pretty good deal.
